Asus, 280,000 smart terminals to Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education.

Asus announced on the 15th that it will supply a total of 280,000 educational smart terminals to the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education.

Asus signed an agreement with the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education to distribute a total of 280,000 units of three types, BR1100FKA, ExpertBook B1400, and Chromebook Flip C214MA.

 

ASUS will deliver about 260,000 BR1100FKAs, 14 million ExpertBook B, and 10,000 Chromebook Flip C214MA to the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education. Smart terminals will be distributed to all schools in the province, starting with Jinju Rainbow Elementary School. A total of 130,000 units will be supplied to students in the third, sixth, and first grades of middle and high schools by the 28th.

 

As a manufacturer that supplies educational products, Aus plans to establish a service center directly under its control so that all students in Gyeongsangnam-do can conveniently use Aus products and provide high-quality AS services such as product maintenance.

 

BR1100FKA is a window-based 11.6-inch laptop optimized for online and offline educational environments. The ExpertBook B1400 is a 14-inch laptop that combines portability and performance. The Chromebook Flip C214MA is an optimized product for classroom environments with a 360-degree touch screen.

 

"Asus will take the lead in creating an online-offline future education environment and spur B2B businesses, including public institutions, including the education industry," said peter Chang, head of Asus Korea.
